Jay McGuiness is in America with The Wanted

There's no denying that The Wanted have some pretty hardcore fans. 

But it seems that the boys - who are currently on a promo tour of the US - are still surprised at how far some admirers will go to express their love. 

'One girl entirely covered herself in [blue] body paint because I'm a fan of Avatar,' says Jay McGuiness, 21.

And it's not just Jay and his band mates who are given unusual presents from their admirers - One Direction's Harry Styles often gets given men's pants.

'I get masses of signed Calvins and cards but they are all from men,' says Harry, 18.
