Team GB hopeful Tom Daley turned 18 this week and he's pretty excited about one of his birthday presents.

The cute diver - who released his first book earlier this week - has been promised a permanent reminder of his time competing in this summer's London 2012 by his mum. 

'Guess what my mum got me for my birthday?!?!...a voucher to go and get an Olympic tattoo after the games :O how cool is she?!,' he Tweeted.

Although most of Tom's followers think it's a great idea, some worry the ink will ruin the teen's good looks.

'@TomDaley1994 don't do it Tom!! You're so perfect without the tattoo!!' wrote one.
