Despite what we first thought, Now has found video proof that Aston Merrygold actually won a recent dance-off against his One Direction friend Niall Horan.

The JLS star took to the stage at Liquid nightclub in Rotherham and bust his best moves - before Niall decided to join him.

Unfortunately, Niall's random arm movements and awkward foot work failed to impress the crowd - despite yesterday's rumours he'd left Aston, 24, in his shadow.

Niall, who'd earlier watched JLS live in Sheffield, soon said his goodbyes to the lads and left the stage.

'Congrats boys! Amazing show ! Amazing tour! That's how u do it! Much love to the lads!' Tweeted Niall, 18, after JLS' concert.
