Mark Wright split from Lauren Goodger in August

Mark Wright and former Coronation Street actressÂ Sacha Parkinson got caught in a torrential downpour as they left this weekend's British Soap Awards together on a rickshaw.

Mark, 25, had joined Sacha, 20, and a host of other TV stars at London's Cafe De Paris for an exclusive after party and they left the club in the early hours of the morning.

Sacha, who played teen lesbian Sian Powers in the soap until last December, wasn't enjoying the rainfall as her curled hair came loose and her pretty polka dot mini got soaked.

But it seems it was Mark who ended up suffering more the next day.

Mark is single after splitting from his former TOWIE co-star Lauren Goodger in August, but Sacha insists she's nothing more than friends with the Essex hunk.

'Wow wow wow @KEY103 I can assure you me and @MarkWright did nothing of the sort! Did you see the pics? He didn't dig the wet dog look muhaha,' Tweets Sacha.
