Cheryl Cole's thoughts will no doubt be with ex Ashley Cole tonight after Chelsea triumphed in the Champions League final against Bayern Munich in Germany.

Ashley, 31, scored one of the penalties in the shoot-out after a 1-1 draw.

'Oooo I love a penalty shoot out! So Chelsea get the gold star!!!!!!...Nearly as good as a Blue Peter badge! :-),' Tweeted The Saturdays' Mollie King.

The Blues won 4-3 at the Allianz Arena after nearly losing 1-0. Didier Drogba scored the equaliser two minutes before the end of normal time.

'To be honest, I'm lost for words,' Ashley told Sky Sports 1 HD after the team's triumph.

'I think we should have probably lost the game with the amount of chances they had but we said it after Napoli, if we beat them, we ride our luck, you need luck in this competition and we rode our luck today but we deserved it.'

Cheryl still has deep feelings for Ashley but hairdresser Aimee Walton doesn't think the pair should reunite.

Aimee had a drunken romp with the footballer in December 2007.

â€˜She'd be mad to forget what Ashley did to her and the pain he caused her,' she told us in an exclusive interview last year.

'It might be in the past, but his infidelity will always be a part of their relationship.

'I fear history will repeat itself and she'll end up back at square one.'
