Alex Reid's marriage to Katie Price lasted less than a year, but he didn't want it to end.

In fact, he and Katie seemed to be patching things up at a spa over Valentine's weekend in 2011 when they slept together, Alex, 36, confirms.

But just days later she went to LA, where she met Leandro Penna at Elton John's Oscars party.

'On the day she met Leandro, she was texting me to say she was looking forward to having an Alex cuddle,' Alex tells Now's Dan Wootton.

'She said the break had done us good. Then I woke ?up the next morning and saw the pictures of her and Leandro. That hurt. I was crying.

'When I look back now, I don't think she wanted to be with me. That's why she went out and found someone else.

'She just got bored of me, I think.'
